Hello!

As you maybe can tell from the title of this dev log, this is the second-to-last dev log I'll be releasing for ch3. The next dev log (still at the end of next month, most likely) will be confirming the release date for ch3. I had previously guessed that I'd be done with the chapter 'some time in July' and I still think this is true, but the rendering itself might push closer to the end of the month than I'd hoped. So there's a possibility that the release date will fall into August, as I'm giving myself a week window once renders are done to thoroughly test the build, as there's a hell of a lot of branching, both big and small things, that I want to make sure is all working correctly. So, the simple version of things is the next dev log will announce a release date, which will be 1 week after that dev log.

I have recounted what I have left to do, in an attempt to get a more accurate estimate for the remaining work. I have 3 scenes and 2 transitional scenes left to do. These two transitional scenes will be about 40 renders total. The other three scenes I've estimated to be 420 renders total. Two of these scenes will be very quick to work through: for example, the longest one by render count (my guess is that it'll be around, probably over, 200) is a simple conversation so there's not a lot of posing changes between shot. The other scene will take more effort setting up each render, but I'm aiming to get it done in a week.

I hope that if you're reading this you're looking forward to the release of ch3. As I've mentioned before, there's a few things that'll be happening alongside the announcement of the ch3 release date that I've had planned for a while, but regardless of that I really hope you'll enjoy the chapter. I think things are only getting better, and I hope that's an accurate feeling.
